High-precision ultrasonic water meter ARAD Sonata for industrial and domestic use
High-precision ultrasonic water meter ARAD Sonata for industrial and domestic use.
Ultrasonic water meters measure water flow using sound waves. Ultrasonic measurement is based on the principle that signals take different lengths of time to travel between two sensors. This method is called the differential time method.
The times are measured that an ultrasonic signal needs for the path from one sensor to the other and for the path back. Without water flow, the signal travel times in the direction of flow and in the opposite direction are the same.
When the water is flowing in the pipe, the ultrasonic signals are accelerated in the direction of flow and delayed in the opposite direction.
Sonata’s water meter is an advanced and highly accurate ultrasonic water meter for domestic use.
The dual pulse output provides consumption values in high resolution.
Each of the two digital output channels can be configured to best match the data resolution required.
Classic applications include water treatment, process water treatment and other applications.
By combining the ultrasonic water meter with the dosing pumps from Emec, volume-dependent or volume-proportional dosing can be realised.
